我的世界的英文名全程是Minecraft；mine是“我的”的意思，craft是“手艺、工艺、技巧”的意思，直译过来就是我的工艺（技巧），所以说中文名翻译成我的世界还是非常适合的。

我的世界和迷你世界的区别
首先的区别就是画质了，我的世界的画质是像素风格。这样的画质，虽然在现在不讨好，但是对于喜欢游戏性的玩家来说，像素风格是可以承载更多MOD的。而我的世界国际版，作为MOD游戏，是能很好的平衡画质和游戏性的。
而迷你世界则是萌系风格，让玩家们获得更好的观赏体验的同时，也可以让不少猛男玩家被俘获！和我的世界一样，迷你世界也面临着画面和游戏性的困难。不过迷你世界，走的是不同的解法！
第二点就是买断和内购了，我的世界国际版是买断制，玩家们可以通过下载MOD获得更好的游戏体验。而迷你世界则是内购，不过这里的内购，并不与游戏性产生关联。卖的也仅仅只是皮肤和特殊坐骑，总的来说，就是增加玩家的颜值。
